Here's a little short film that we did at Luma for Pepsi around April 2011. I did the fur setup and lighting, and I animated the last shot. It was very rushed, we had about 1 week to do the animation, hectic! So for the time constraints I think we did an awesome job!

Siggraph Asia 2010

It's really an honour to be selected in the Computer Animation Festival for this year's Siggraph Asia 2010. It's beyond words! I think it's gratifying to know I'm pushing my career in the right direction, even though at most times the goals just seems so far away. Thanks again to everyone that's supported me, I'm excited to be in this industry and can't wait what the future brings!

YES, my short film is finally done. It's been a loooong 18 months of production but well worth it. I like to thank my mentors from Animation Mentor - Kieth Sintay, Chris Derochie, Jason Taylor, Michelle Meeker, Chris Chua and Ray Chase. Thanks for all the feedback and crits from my classmates at AM (there's so many but you know who u r ;)
Thanks to the guys from the "old" Anamazing Workshop that helped me listen to my story pitches - Sean Viljoen, Karen Botha, Samantha Cutler and Allan Cameron. Thanks to Luma Animation for letting me use some render power. And finally thanks to my family, Sidney, Katharine, Cydne and Donovan for their support and encouragement.

So I'm in the middle of lighting my shots, and I just thought this WIP shot was really cool. It's basically 1 light, far from finished obviously, but just the basic shapes and silhouettes it created was almost a new style in it's own. Almost Sin City like. Meh... enough blab, back to work!
